A Remote Online Notary (RON) uses secure audio-visual technology over the internet, similar to Zoom or Facetime, instead of being physically present in the same room. There are specific protocols to follow, including verifying the signer’s identification and confirming the signer understands all the documents and is willing to sign.

The Notary then uses secure software to collect electronic signatures and issue an electronic stamp to confirm notarization. RON services allow business transactions such as closing to proceed smoothly and be unrestricted if there is a lack of a notary in a specific location (such as smaller towns or rural areas).

Remote closings are available to both seller and buyers on cash transactions and seller clients on all transactions in most of our current markets.

The funds can be transferred from USDC (cryptocurrency) to USD if that is the seller’s preference, or they can be transferred in the cryptocurrency of the seller’s choosing.
